CamText respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information.

Information We Access

• Camera: CamText uses your device camera so you can take photos inside the app.
• Photo Library: CamText requests permission to save annotated photos to your photo library.
• Location: If you enable GPS stamping, CamText requests access to your location while using the app in order to add location information to photos.

How Your Information Is Used

CamText uses this information only to provide app features such as taking photos, adding text annotations, optionally adding GPS and timestamp information, and saving the final photo to your library.

Photos and Data Processing

CamText processes photos directly on your device. CamText does not upload your photos to external servers.

Data Collection

CamText does not collect personal information for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Data Sharing

CamText does not sell, rent, or share your personal data or photos with third parties.

Location Information

If GPS stamping is enabled, location information may be added to the photo annotation or saved image. If GPS stamping is turned off, CamText does not use location for that purpose.

Data Retention

Photos you take and save using CamText are stored on your device and in your photo library, subject to your device and iCloud settings. CamText itself does not maintain a separate cloud storage service for your photos.

Your Choices

You can control camera, photo library, and location permissions at any time in your device Settings.

Children’s Privacy

CamText is not directed to children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page.
